Artmaking with Native Botanicals
Maddison Gibbs is a proud Barkindji woman. Her artworks are based on her culture, people and surroundings and tell stories of past and present. Through her art, Maddison acknowledges the country on which we meet, live, work and play. Her work is inspired by the local landscapes, foods, bush medicine and healing plants.
Join Maddison for an artmaking workshop inspired by the local flora. Join her in celebrating and recognising the oldest, most intricate, sophisticated and connected society in the world, and the connectedness we still share with the land and all living things on it.
This workshop will take place at Centre Court, Metro Level outside Witchery.
